INFORMATION ABOUT TUSKA

Tuska Festival is organized by Finnish Metal Events Oy.

FOOD & OTHER SELLING SPACES AT TUSKA
Food and other selling spaces at Tuska-festival are now available for applicants. Please download and fill out either Food sales space or Other sales space -application  as instructed in the application forms and send it to us by the end of April, 2013. Rental prices and terms are stated in the application forms. All aplicants will be informed of the decisions by May 15th, 2013.

ARRIVING TO THE FESTIVAL
The best way to arrive to Tuska is by metro. Helsinki City Transport website. Closest metro stops is Sörnäinen, a several hundred meters from the festival area. Use public transportation to get to Suvilahti: metro to Sörnäinen-station or tram (6, 7A/7B, 8) to "Kurvi" / Vilhovuori. You can also take the bus (68 and many more) from the central railway station. Approach the festival gate from Sörnäisten Rantatie, next to the ABC -gas station.

There is no public parking for cars at the festival.

1) FESTIVAL AREA
Tuska Festival area is located on the Suvilahti event field. Address nearest to the festival entrance is Parrukatu 2-4, 00540 Helsinki.

Walking distance from the city center to Tuska is about 3 km.

There is no parking spaces for public near the festival area.

Exact schedule of each day will be in the RUNNING ORDER section of the website. Make sure to check for possible changes in the schedule before each festival day.

2) TICKETS AND WRISTBANDS
Tuska 2013 -tickets are on sale at www.tiketti.fi and www.lippu.fi. Ticket agency service fee will be added to all ticket prices, Tiketti fee starting at 2,50e, Lippu.fi fee starting at 3,50e.

THREE DAY TICKETS

117 euros

All Tuska Festival Three Day tickets will be exchanged for a wristband at pre-exchange points or at the festival gates before entering. Three Day wristband allows you to leave and re-enter the festival area during the festival day. More info here closer to festival date.

Fri+Sat ticket 92 euros

Entry to the festival area once a day only with Two Day tickets.

ONE DAY TICKETS

TUSKA TURBO VIP-packages 3 days or 1 day (Fri/Sat/Sun)
3 days 250 euros

VIP-package includes:
- TUSKA 2013 – VIP pass, lanyard and wristband (ticket will be exchanged for a pass and a wristband at the festival VIP entrance by the main gate)
- VIP entrance to the festival area
- Access to the VIP lounge tent
- VIP lounge tent services (Restaurant, bar with terrace area and VIP sanitary facilities
- One warm buffet meal each day the VIP pass is valid at the VIP lounge tent (menu will be specified closer to festival date)

Age limit to all VIP packages is 18.

All VIP customers will be contacted via email before the festival, with instructions on how to exchange the purhased ticket for the pass&wristband. TURBO VIP packages are available at www.tiketti.fi and www.lippu.fi on Monday April 15. Ticket agency fee will be added to the VIP package price.


Note! There may be changes in the festival schedule and program which are beyond the festival organization's control. Possible changes will be announced immediately. According to the usual festival policy, bought festival tickets will not be refunded in such cases.


GOOD TO KNOW - ABC

ALCOHOL AND BEVERAGES
Bringing your own alcohol beverages to the festival area is strictly prohibited. Bag check will be in effect upon entering the festival.
You can bring one (1) transparent, unopened plastic bottle of non-alcoholic beverage, or a transparent and empty plastic bottle per customer. Max. size 1,5 litres. Security personnel is allowed to forbid any "suspicious" bottles and ask to leave those to the cloakroom. There are water taps for public at the venue. Drinking tap water in Finland is ok.

AUTOGRAPH SESSIONS

There will be an autograph point near the outdoor stages and we hope that most of the Artists will find the time for autograph sessions. During the festival the announcers will tell about the confirmed sessions. The autograph point is powered by www.emp.fi.

CAMERAS & RECORDING

Professional photo equipment requires press accerditation. Press accreditation & photo passes will be granted for media personnel only, not private customers.
Pocket cameras & cell phone cameras are allowed. All video cameras and other recording equipment are strictly prohibited.

CAMPING & HOTELS

Tuska is located in the city so we have no camping area. The closest camping area is RASTILA, by the metro stop of the same name.

 Although the city has plenty of hotels you might want to book your hotel room well in advance as a plenty of Tuska-comers arrive from far away. Tuska is not the only event in town to attract large crowds during this particular weekend.

CHILDREN

Children under 12 years old must be escorted by a responsible and sober, over 18 year old guardian with a valid ticket. We do not recommed bringing little children to the festival.

CLOAK ROOM

You can leave your belongings in the cloak room by the festival gate. NOTE!!! No huge backpacks or other large items.

DISABLED CUSTOMERS

Physically disabled and visually impaired customers can bring an escort (1 person).

FIRST AID & PHARMACY

There is a first aid point at the festival area, which will serve during festival opening hours. The nearest pharmacy is located in Sörnäinen, Hämeentie 58, 00500 Helsinki. Yliopiston Apteekki, Mannerheimintie 96, is open 24 hours.

LOST & FOUND

During the festival, ask for your lost items from the cloak room.

PARKING

Parking in Helsinki is not free of charge. The festival does not have parking for public.

PENSIONERS

Senior citizens of over 65 years of age are allowed to access the festival area free of charge.

RECYCLING

Please note that in Finland all bottles are recycled. The festival has its own bottle recycling system, please do not trash empty bottles, place them in appropriate containers. Also, please sort your trash in appropriate containers.

SAFETY & PROHIBITED ITEMS

Professional camera equipment, all recorders, cans, bottles, umbrellas and all things that can be considered dangerous are strictly prohibited, at the security personnel's discretion.

SMOKING

According to law, smoking in premises and spaces that are intended for watching performances, is strictly prohibited. Due to this, smoking is prohibited in immediate approximity of all stages. Tent stage and the indoor stage are completely non-smoking.
