Tuska Open Air Metal Festival taking place in Helsinki, Finland during 2.-4.7. has added American progressive metallers NEVERMORE to the program. NEVERMORE will replace MASTODON who canceled their entire European Tour last week. NEVERMORE will perform at Tuska on Saturday July 3rd.

Tickets for Tuska 2010 are selling really well, with Sunday July 4th already sold out. Other categories are believed to soon follow suit.

MASTODON who were scheduled to perform at Tuska on Saturday July 3rd, have been forced to cancel their entire European tour, due to illness. Unfortunately for their Finnish fans, this includes Tuska as well. Replacement act will be announced shortly.

The Program for Tavastia Evening Clubs has been relealed. On Friday 2.7. RONNIE JAMES DIO MEMORIAL GALA will take place, with Marco Hietala, Tuple Salmela, Ari Koivunen and Patrik Eriksson as vocalists. All proceeds of the show go to charity.

On Sunday 4.7. FINAL ASSAULT and LIGHT HOUSE PROJECT will put a final touch on this years festival from the confines of Tavastia Club.

Tuska Open Air Metal Festival taking place in Helsinki, Finland during 2.-4.7. has announced the program for the infamous evening clubs. The venues are all respected rock clubs in the center of Helsinki; Tavastia, Nosturi, Virgin Oil Co. and Dante’s Highlight.

Nosturi will host a black metal night on Saturday 3.7. with SHINING, TOTALSELFHATRED and ARTHEMESIA taking back the reigns.

Virgin Oil Co. which is located in the immediate vicinity of the festival site, will host clubs from Thursday 1.7. to Sunday 4.7. with tons of bands playing, KIUAS, DAUNTLESS, DECOMPOSTER, THROES OF DAWN and BEYOND THE DREAM, to name a few.

Dante’s Highlight will be clubbing away on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a line-up of heavy hitters such as MAYHEM, AJATTARA and ARMOUR.

Tavastia will host evening clubs on Thursday 1.7, Friday 2.7. and Sunday 4.7. Program will be announced later.

- Change in program: BLAKE in, HOLY GRAIL out

There has been a change in the program for Tuska Open Air Metal Festival taking place in Kaisaniemi, Helsinki, Finland on 2.-4.7.2010. American up-and-comers Holy Grail have been forced to cancel their apprearance at Tuska due to conflicting recording schedules.

HOLY GRAIL guitarist / vocalist James Paul Luna commented, "It kills me having to pull out of such an awesome festival as Tuska. We are extremely sorry and heartbroken about it all and wish we could have knocked out our album before we left. I hope we get a chance next year do to it up right once we have an album, but I guess this year wasn't in the cards for us. Thank you to the festival promoters for even considering us and we hope to make it to Finland asap, cheers!"

Filling in for HOLY GRAIL on Saturday July 3rd will be Finnish, bluesy space rockers BLAKE who are currently working on the follow up for their 2008 “Sa7urnus”-album which was a smash hit in Finland.
